I recently bought a Nintendo Wii Fit which also included Wii Sports. I must say, I am hooked. It’s a fun way to play games and get some exercise at the same time. I’ve never been much of a gym rat. My favorite exercise is trail running, but it’s just not always convenient to do that, at least not daily.
I discovered that the Wii Sports has a Training section where you practice various moves and techniques in the different sports – Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Bowling and Boxing.
So I practiced a bit, then went back in and played the games and Voila!! I was better.
This led me to the Wii Wisdom. Practice is important. That is why I tell my coaching clients to journal on a regular basis. Practice, Practice, Practice. You will get better and you will get hooked on it. Like anything the more you do it, the better you become at it.
Even if you only spend 10 minutes a day, doing one of two things – 1 – Set your intentions for the day (or write you priority to-do list) or 2 – Write what you are thankful for. I know you will experience a significant shift.
I would love to hear from you. Let me know about your journaling experiences.
