March Madness

March Madness blog pic for post

January & February flew by and now it is almost halfway through March. You’ve been working hard towards your goals, but they still seem such a long way off.

In The Knowledge Series™ – 5 Keys to Accelerate Your Success the third key is Leverage. You need Leverage to achieve your goals. Our definition of Leverage is Support, Systems, Accountability and Community.

It’s important to know when you should ask for help. You do not have to do everything all alone. Especially, if you have a big goal, you need to set yourself up for success with a support network.

This might be as simple as having an accountability buddy – someone you check in with on a regular basis to help keep you on track with your goals. Someone who is supportive, even when you may not have achieved everything you committed to by a deadline.

“Life is not a solo act. It’s a huge collaboration, and we all need to assemble around us the people who care about us and support us in times of strife.

~ Tim Gunn

Accountability is great and sometimes it is just more fun to do things with a friend. I have even run errands with a friend and it makes what could be tedious tasks much more enjoyable. It gives you a chance to connect with a friend and you are also being productive. Sometimes you need to get the mundane tasks out of the way to be able to focus on what you need to do to move towards those big goals. Why not have some fun in the process.

Don’t let March Madness get you down. Enjoy the journey towards your goals and remember to ask for help.
